Point Mugu Auto Skills Center | BLDG 154

Naval Base Ventura County's auto skills shop enables you to complete minor to major repairs from oil changes to engine repairs. Located behind the NEX gas station our Point Mugu facility offers tools for almost every job and specialized equipment such as:

  • Drive on Lifts
  • Frame Lifts
  • Tire Machines
  • Engine diagnostic
  • Sand blaster and more

The Mugu Auto Skills shop features eleven outdoor stalls and several in-door stalls to work on your vehicle so there’s plenty of space for everyone. Stalls are reserved on a first come-first serve basis. All repair work is completed by the patron, MWR staff do not work on vehicles. Our onsite mechanic can assist you with advice & proper tool selection for your project.

Proper attire is required at all time within the shop: Long pants and closed toe shoes. No shorts, tank-tops or flip-flops.
